What: Any person who (a) works for a firm, corporation, or other business organization which is a Corporate Member; (b) performs or provides professional services to a public employee retirement system or retiree health care plan; and (c) meets the Board's requirements, may apply for Associate Membership. Associate Membership will list associate's firm, corporation, or other business organization and the name of the Associate Member. Associate Membership applications must be submitted to the secretary/treasurer for approval by the Executive Board and must be sponsored by an active Corporate Member in good standing with MAPERS.
A Corporate Membership is necessary for all organizations that do business with or at MAPERS Conferences. A Corporate Membership allows the organization to send two (2) persons to both semi-annual MAPERS Conferences. Should you wish to send more than two persons, each additional person will need an Associate Membership for the same entitlement. It is important to note that you cannot have an Associate Membership without your parent company first having a Corporate Membership. Additional representatives from your firm must be signed up under an Associate Membership at $200.00 per representative.
